Since 2022, our team has been actively working to strengthen Ukraine’s energy security by bringing together the efforts of international donors, relevant ministries, and local governments. Our goal is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical facilities even under the most challenging circumstances.
Currently, with the support of our international partners, we are implementing another phase of a project aimed at strengthening the energy resilience of Ukrainian communities. In particular, we are conducting assessments of critical infrastructure facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Odesa, and Cherkasy regions. This initiative covers 63 facilities across 37 localities, where we are identifying priority needs for the installation of generators.
The results of this large-scale effort are already being felt on the ground. A vivid example is Liashkivskyi Lyceum, which received a powerful generator with the support of GoLOCAL and funding from our donor. This equipment ensures that the educational process will not be interrupted and that students can continue learning in warm, well-lit classrooms despite any challenges.
