Energy storage systems are a vital component of community energy resilience.

To strengthen its energy security, the Slavutych community has received 14 modern energy storage systems with a total capacity of 60 kWh. Each system consists of 12 battery modules, an inverter, a control unit, and a mounting rack.

Once installed, the equipment will provide backup power, ensure the continuous operation of critical engineering systems, and help maintain essential conditions in municipal facilities during power outages.

We sincerely thank the Government of Germany and our partners at GIZ Ukraine: Energy and Climate for their invaluable support in restoring and strengthening the resilient infrastructure of Ukrainian communities.

These activities are being implemented as part of the Winter Support Package provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) within the Transitional Development Assistance framework and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
