The GoLOCAL and Zhiva Planeta NGOs’ experts as a part of the Energy Efficiency in Community II project, which is being implemented by GIZ Ukraine on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Development and Development of Germany (BMZ) held a Public Procurement Training in November 2019.
The topic of the training is a green public procurement.
The purpose of the training is to be aware of the connection between sustainable consumption\production and public procurement, as well as the new version of the Public Procurement Law and how this law can extend a number of high-quality, affordable and effective goods / services.
The other part deals with the main criteria (environmental use, energy efficiency, safety) of goods / services, using short-term criteria and life cycles of goods / services abovementioned.
Finally, experts offered practical task to resolve and also suggested participants to develop technical specifications using a multicriteria approach.
The project “Energy Efficiency in Communities III” is being implemented in Ukraine by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ Ukraine) with the assistance of the Federal Ministry of Economic Development and Development of Germany (BMZ).
