The Slavutych community has received three solar power plants with a capacity of 38 kW each. Each system is equipped with battery storage units with a total capacity of 60 kWh.
The new solar installations provide a reliable backup power supply for municipal infrastructure, enabling facilities to operate autonomously during power outages and helping maintain safe and comfortable conditions for residents.
The GoLOCAL team, in cooperation with GIZ, is proud to contribute to this process by facilitating the delivery of humanitarian assistance and supporting Slavutych in strengthening its energy resilience.
We sincerely thank the people and Government of Germany, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and our colleagues at GIZ Ukraine: Energy and Climate for their continued support to Ukrainian communities.
The activities are implemented within the Winter Assistance Package, provided by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung) as part of transitional assistance and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
