We continue our series of interviews with community representatives within the “Localist” project. This time, we are sharing the experience of the Sosnytsia community, which is gradually strengthening its project management capacity, developing international partnerships, and mobilizing resources for important local initiatives.
A dedicated shelter for the local lyceum, an artesian well, solar power plants at critical facilities, and the renewal of municipal equipment with the support of GoLOCAL – all of these achievements are the result of a clear strategy and a shift from reactive responses to a proactive, project-based approach.
In the new interview, Andrii Tkach, Secretary of the Sosnytsia Settlement Council and Head of the Economic Development Department, shares how the community works with international partners, strengthens the energy resilience of its hospital and water supply facility, implements infrastructure projects, and explores new opportunities for developing vocational education.
