GoLOCAL and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding

The non-government organization GoLOCAL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The document lays the foundation for a strategic partnership to support and develop educational initiatives, including a network of Digital Learning Centers (DLC).

The cooperation focuses on expanding the DLC network in general secondary, vocational (VET), and professional pre-higher education institutions, integrating modern educational technologies and practices, and broadening students’ access to high-quality learning opportunities.

Key tasks under the Memorandum include:
• supporting the effective operation of the DLC network;
• integrating international best practices into the learning process and promoting digital competencies within the DLC;
• organizing training programs and courses on the Profosvita.online platform;
• engaging donors and partners to finance and provide technical support for the DLC;
• expanding educational opportunities for vulnerable groups, including children from internally displaced families, low-income families, and persons with disabilities;
• running information campaigns and facilitating knowledge exchange to build a sustainable digital education system.

GoLOCAL extends its thanks to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Dmytro Zavhorodnii for the partnership and the opportunity to jointly advance digital education in Ukraine.
