This grant is intended to assist up to 12 SMEs to accelerate their efforts to digitalize their businesses. Digitalization is the adoption or use of digital technologies and data to create revenue, improve business models, replace or transform business processes.

The Grantee will coordinate IT consulting support for up to 12 SMEs, to provide four main stages of support:

  1. Analysis and modelling of SME business processes
  2. Recommendations on Business process re-engineering for SMEs
  3. IT strategy (including comparison and details about suggested digital transformation and IT solutions to be used)
  4. Developing scopes of work to procure IT solutions for SMEs

The abovementioned support will be provided by qualified and experienced IT consultants with a background in Business Processes Modeling and Automation and who have supported the digital transformation of other Ukrainian SMEs under cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) ‘Merezha’ network.

The successfully managed digitalization support services can allow businesses to achieve:

A digital presence and new contact channels with customers

Better decision-making

Improved efficiency and productivity

Access to technologies that foster easier communication, teamwork, and innovation

Adaptability to remote working conditions

As a result of this support to up to 12 SMEs, CEP expects up to 10 SMEs to have a solid and ready-to-be-used SoW which could immediately be utilized by the SMEs to proceed with IT procurements and implement the recommended IT solutions.  Accordingly, this supports CEP’s IT sector growth and competitiveness efforts by connecting those IT firms with willing customers in the domestic Ukrainian market and vice versa.
